Weaving Change: A Shared Vision for a More Just and Equitable World

We are four women who connected in Granada, Spain, during our professional specialization. Amid an uncertain world, we discovered a shared vision: a more equal, just, and compassionate world—one that actively works to reduce social inequalities, with a gender perspective and intersectional approach. Though we each bring different areas of focus, methodologies, and passions to our work, this common set of values has motivated us to join forces, as collaborators, committed to turning our beliefs into action, together.

From this shared vision, we’ve created TramAS – Social and Health Consulting: a group dedicated to advancing social and health equity through impactful, value-driven projects.

TramAS

In Spanish, “Tramas” refers to the set of horizontal threads that interweave with the vertical ones—known as “urdimbre”—to form the fabric on a loom. Together, the trama and the urdimbre create the foundation of any woven textile.

This metaphor lies at the heart of our consultancy. Just as threads must come together with intention and tension to create a strong, resilient fabric, we believe meaningful and lasting change is only possible when people, organizations, and ideas are intentionally woven together.

At TramAS, we work to weave communities of change—bringing together diverse actors, perspectives, and resources to create interconnected solutions that are stronger than the sum of their parts.
